Feeding South Dakota
Feeding South Dakota is the largest hunger relief organization in the state of South Dakota, with programs and agency partnerships in all 66 counties. Feeding South Dakota has on-site pantries, mobile pantries, and school pantries, as well as three distribution centers in Rapid City, Pierre, and Sioux Falls.
Hunger affects one in six children in South Dakota. The Feeding South Dakota BackPack Program provides a weekend food package to over 5,000 kids who might otherwise go hungry.
Feeding South Dakota relies on donations of food, money, and time to positively impact thousands of lives every year. In FY 2019, the organization distributed over 15 million pounds of food, representing nearly 13 million meals, to over 62,000 South Dakota families. All proceeds from this year’s Raw Couture event will assist the organization in their mission to end hunger in South Dakota.
